May 8, 2013 – TVPRD has learned of active mold growth in two areas within Dye Natatorium. Due to the limited size of the affected areas, TVRPD does not believe that they pose significant health risks to anyone using Dye Natatorium. However, in the interest of ensuring the public’s health and safety, Dye Natatorium will be closed until TVRPD confirms that the mold conditions do not, in fact, threaten the health of anyone using Dye Natatorium.
The health and welfare of the community and anyone using our facilities is of the greatest importance to TVRPD. Please be assured that TVRPD is taking immediate steps to address this condition, to completely remove the mold and to make necessary repairs to prevent mold growth in the future.
In the meantime, we apologize for any inconvenience experienced caused by the closure. Please be assured that Dye Natatorium will reopen as soon as possible.
