Easter Egg Hunt

Children ages 2 to 10 years old can participate in this year's Easter Egg Hunt. 2000 Plastic eggs filled with candy will be hidden in the playground. Prize baskets will be given to lucky ones who find the eggs with the golden coin inside. We will also have a Coloring and Dying Eggs Contest. Children will compete in their age group.

Chick Racing Championships

This unique event is great for the whole family. Chicks racing side-by-side down an 8-foot track for the bragging rights of the fastest chick in Tehachapi and the winner's purse. And don't worry plenty of rules are in place to protect our short legged friends from harm. Chick entry tickets will be sold for this event. Get your tickets at TVRPD District Office.

• Time: Registration begins at 9:00am, Race at 10:00am

Two Fun Categories:

• Adults ages 16 and older: $500.00 for Tagged Fish
• Children 3 – 15 years: Prizes for largest, 1st, 2nd & 3rd

All Derby participants 16 years of age or older must have a valid California Sport Fishing License in their possession. Children under the age of 16 are not required to have a California License.

Pre-registration at District Office and Brite Lake campsites available

• Cost: Registration fee $5.00 per each adult and child
           Entry into park is $5.00 per vehicle
