TVRPD offers our younger children ages 4 to 7 the opportunity to get a head start in developing their "bat 'n ball" skills with our Youth T-Ball program. With a chance to familiarize themselves with exciting game situations, the emphasis is on fun and education. We have two divisions that meet twice a week.

This Soccer “School” is a recreational setting for children to learn and play the world’s most popular sport. The sessions include age appropriate activities: skill demonstrations, fun games, and instructional scrimmages. Young soccer enthusiasts experience the soccer-fun in a safe, non-competitive environment, facilitated by licensed professionals in the Kidz Love Soccer Method.

Tehachapi Valley Recreation & Parks District and the Varsity Girl's Volleyball Team is offering an "Instructional Volleyball" program this spring for those young volleyball enthusiasts. This program will be a six-week course on Mondays in "Basic Volleyball Techniques".

The TVRPD youth basketball league takes to the court this winter for recreational basketball that stresses fun and safety along with the fundamentals, strategies and rules of the game. It's a positive learning environment for children.

Games are played during the week and on Saturday at the West Park Activity Center starting in January.
