TVRPD and the Tehachapi High School tennis coach Jim True will be offering youth tennis lessons this summer. Come out and learn the basics of tennis.

Session 2 begins July 8.

TVRPD and the Tehachapi High School Varsity Basketball Coach Chris Olofson are offering a co-ed youth basketball camp this summer for kids ages 7 – 14. This will be a fantastic introduction to fundamental drills such as dribbling, passing, rebounding and shooting. Afternoons will include controlled scrimmage games with team concepts such as offense and defense implemented. Each camper will receive a t-shirt and water bottle, lunch is provided on Friday.

Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District is offering Instructional Volleyball for boys and girls ages 5 through 8.

This fun program is a great way to introduce your child to the basics fundamentals of volleyball. They also learn the beginnings of teamwork, and sportsmanship.

This Soccer “School” is a recreational setting for children to learn and play the world’s most popular sport. The sessions include age appropriate activities: skill demonstrations, fun games, and instructional scrimmages. Young soccer enthusiasts experience the soccer-fun in a safe, non-competitive environment, facilitated by licensed professionals in the Kidz Love Soccer Method.
