Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District is governed by a five member Board of Directors. The Tehachapi City Council appoints two, while three are appointed by the Kern Board of Supervisors.

Board Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month, 5:30 pm at the District office, located at 490 West D Street. The public is invited to attend.
