Job Opening: Full-Time Custodian

Position Summary

The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time custodian position. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the custodian has the primary responsibility of cleaning District facilities in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. It is the role of the custodian to follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedule District-wide; that is including, but not limited to, office areas, classrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, storage areas and entrances. This position will be required to work nights, weekends, holidays and multiple shifts when needed.

Job Opening: Volunteer Camp Host

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Park and Facility Maintenance Supervisor, the Camp Host performs a variety of volunteer services at the Brite Lake Campground facility, including, but not limited to the provision of customer service and vehicle compliance information, monitoring fee collection, campground and facility inspections, record keeping, light janitorial duties, and encouraging campground rules and regulations compliance. The Camp Host is a volunteer position with 25 hours weekly schedule. Camp Host agreements are issued for a minimum of six (6) months and not-to-exceed twelve (12) months, or as negotiated between parties.
