Low Impact Fitness Class
DanceFit is an upbeat, fun, creative and challenging way to exercise. Basic Dance choreography is set to a variety of music genres, then combined with aerobic movement to create this exciting class for all levels. If you enjoy dancing, then this is for you. If you have never danced, this is for you! Dancing is a great way to get fit while having fun. Dancing has a variety of health benefits including: weight loss, improved heart health, muscle strength, improved memory, increased energy and so much more. Meet the instructor
Shell Christian is an avid enthusiast for health through dance and Fitness. Having owned and taught in a dance and fitness facility, she looks forward to now sharing her excitement with the people of Tehachapi. She has dance training in a variety of genres, such as Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Ballroom, and Belly Dancing, and loves to combine this experience with her desire to help others improve their overall well-being both physically and emotionally. She is a firm believer in how dance and music can improve one’s overall state of being. She has watched transformations of clients through this form of exercise. She has had the opportunity to live in unique places around the world such as Hawaii and Brazil and seen firsthand how music and dance brings people together regardless of cultural differences. She trusts in the unity group dance fitness brings regardless of age, race, shape, experience or circumstances.
