To all those who are tired of being tired… and sore!! Here's your chance to learn a well proven physical therapy called Tai Chi Chaun. Classes combine warm-up exercises with instructions on how to perform the traditional Tai Chi movements. With practice, you will enjoy greater flexibility, balance, and strength without the usual pain or strain.

TVRPD offers our younger children ages 4 to 7 the opportunity to get a head start in developing their "bat 'n ball" skills with our Youth T-Ball program. With a chance to familiarize themselves with exciting game situations, the emphasis is on fun and education. We have two divisions that meet twice a week.

Easter Egg Hunt

Children ages 2 to 10 years old can participate in this year's Easter Egg Hunt. 2000 Plastic eggs filled with candy will be hidden in the playground. Prize baskets will be given to lucky ones who find the eggs with the golden coin inside. We will also have a Coloring and Dying Eggs Contest. Children will compete in their age group.

Chick Racing Championships

This unique event is great for the whole family. Chicks racing side-by-side down an 8-foot track for the bragging rights of the fastest chick in Tehachapi and the winner's purse. And don't worry plenty of rules are in place to protect our short legged friends from harm. Chick entry tickets will be sold for this event. Get your tickets at TVRPD District Office.
